Advocate Savita Ali

Lawyer | Activist | Founder of Eva Foundation | Advisory Member at AWID

Advocate Savita Ali, originally born as Savita Singh in a small village in Panipat, Haryana, is a powerful example of resilience, determination, and transformative leadership. Coming from a society where girls were often denied the right to education, she broke entrenched caste and gender barriers to complete her graduation in 2007 and went on to pursue law and social justice as her life’s mission. Her inter-caste, inter-religious, and inter-state marriage marked another bold step against prevailing social norms. After relocating to Bihar, she started her legal career from scratch, facing resistance from conservative systems. But rather than giving in, she turned every struggle into a stepping stone to uplift others. Today, she is a practicing advocate at the Patna High Court and Sessions Court and the Founder of Eva Foundation — a state-level initiative providing legal aid, education, mental health support, and empowerment to marginalized. Her interventions have directly impacted survivors of violence, child marriage, labor exploitation, and caste atrocities, while also mentoring over a thousand girls as future legal defenders. Savita Ali is not just a lawyer — she is a movement. Her life’s work is a testimony to the belief that justice must be both accessible and accountable. Through strategic legal advocacy, community leadership, and systemic reform, she is creating pathways for the most marginalized to reclaim their dignity and rights.
