Patna: On 27 July 2020, free masks were distributed by Eva Foundation to economically weaker families residing in
Alamganj Chand Colony, Patna. Mr. Irshad Ali Azad, Chairman, Bihar State Shia Waqf Board was present as the distinguished guest at the mask distribution ceremony. Mr. Azad distributed masks with his hands to nearly a thousand families andcounselled them on precautionary measures of corona.
Significantly, during the distribution of the masks, the delivery of the masks was ensured by following all the rules of lock down. A leaflet was also given to all the beneficiaries along with the mask, in which the doctor has suggested measures to prevent corona.
On this occasion, Mr. Azad said that this is a global epidemic and both the government, and the public must work together to fight it. Since there is no vaccine for Corona yet, caution is necessary to avoid it, and the use of masks plays an important role in this caution.
Mr. Safdar Ali, Chairman, Advisory Board of Eva Foundation, said that in view of the need of Chand Colony, mask distribution has been done here. Eva Foundation will work in future for the upliftment of socio-economic conditions in the Chand Colony through skill development and vocational training.
